Storehouse

Children’s Storehouse

The Children’s Storehouse is run by Winchester Vineyard from the Vineyard Centre. We supply good quality second-hand baby equipment, clothes, shoes, toys, games and books to families in need, free of charge through a voucher system

Children’s Storehouse is open on Friday mornings in school term time from 9.30am to 12noon. Families or individuals who are referred to us by Health Visitors and other agencies can then come and select the items that they need

We regret that at this stage we are not able to arrange delivery of items but do hope to be able to offer this service in the future. Also, if we do not have the items required we will endeavour to source these but of course we cannot guarantee that the items can be obtained. With popular items of equipment that might be in short supply at a particular time we will run a waiting list to be completely fair to all our clients

If you know of families who would benefit from this service then please do not hesitate to speak to the Storehouse Team or leave a message on 01962 863217 or storehouse@winvin.org.uk

If you are an organisation or centre working in health care or social work and would like more information about the Children’s Storehouse please contact us and we will be more than happy to talk to you, we would be delighted too if you would visit us in the first instance - we look forward to being of assistance to you and your clients in the near future. We also take referrals from House Group Leaders in the church so if you know someone who might benefit from our services - do talk to them

Food Storehouse

We are pleased to be able to be of help those who are in need with food parcels. It’s our way of saying that God loves them - no strings attached. Again we have a similar system of referals from those working in health care or social work or our House Group Leaders.

The Food Storehouse is supplied by donations from church "regulars" who bring extra shopping in to maintain our stocks - which is constantly appreciated. The Church Administrator and volunteers make up the "food parcels" into bags for people to receive, keeping their identity confidential in the process
